Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

At Dog Needs, we want you and your furry friend to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We stand behind the quality of our products and offer the following return and refund policy.

Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for most items. The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received it. Items that have been opened, used, or show signs of wear (especially pet food, treats, or grooming products) may not be eligible for return.

Eligibility for Returns

  Eligible items: Toys, accessories, beds, apparel, bowls, and other non-consumable products that remain unopened and undamaged.

  Non-returnable items:

  Opened or used pet food, treats, supplements, or medications (for hygiene and safety reasons).

  Personalized or custom-engraved items.

  Items marked as “Final Sale” or clearance.

  Perishable or consumable goods once opened.

  Products that have been damaged due to improper use or negligence.

How to Initiate a Return

1.  Contact our customer service team at misatalksbusiness@gmail.com or through our website’s contact form within the 30-day window. Please include your order number, item details, and reason for return.

2.  We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions.

3.  Ship the item back to us at the address provided (we recommend using a trackable shipping method).

4.  Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or we made an error in fulfillment.

Refunds

  Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund to the original payment method.

  Refunds are typically issued within 5–10 business days after inspection.

  You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed.

  Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our mistake (wrong item shipped or defective product).

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately (within 7 days of delivery) with photos of the issue. We will cover return shipping and either replace the item or issue a full refund at no extra cost to you.

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size, color, or product, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, customs fees, and duties. Refunds will only cover the product cost (not original shipping).

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Return and Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
